Speeding out onto the market next month is a cool, brand new electric unicycle model; the Begode Monster Pro 100V.  The Monster Pro looks like it’s going to dominate the scene on release, coming with a slew of awesome features, and a plethora of quality of life features that are catching the eyes of many electric unicycle fans.

We’ve compiled a rundown of all the interesting features and exact specifications of the Monster Pro so you can clearly see what this beast has to offer.

Appearance:

The Monster Pro certainly lives up to its name, as this unicycle is certainly a girthy one.

The Monster Pro’s measurements are as follows: H= 680mm, L =610mm, W =500mm when unfolded; H=680mm, L=610 mm, W=260 when the footrests are folded in.

As you can see, the Monster Pro is decently large, which does mean it takes up a decent amount of space; but to achieve the insane amount of power the Monster Pro has (something we’ll get on to later) there has to be a trade-off when it comes to size.

As for the wheel on its own, its diameter is 610mm, which is great for maintaining balance while riding but not having it take up any more space than the Monster Pro already does.

The footrests sit a comfortable 165mm above the ground.

The Monster Pro is also very heavy, weighing roughly 45kg, so you don’t really want to be hauling it around with you unless you’re planning on actually riding it. If you need to take the Monster Pro on a journey, you’re better off packing it into the back of a car or storing it overhead on a train or plane; you’d have to be a trained weightlifter to carry this electric unicycle around all the time.

Performance and Hardware

As previously mentioned, and as the name suggests, the Monster Pro is, well…a monster!

In terms of its speediness, its average cruising speed is around 25km/h, which is perfect for use in both busy towns and cities or more rural areas.

And without-load, this unicycle can absolutely fly along at a whopping 106km/h!

Another showcase of the Monster Pro’s performance is its range. The Monster Pro has an insane range of upwards of 200km! To put that into perspective, that means you could technically ride from Madrid to Valencia on this thing! It also has a max climb of inclines up to 20 degrees, not bad considering its size, and a max load of 130kg, making the Monster Pro very versatile when it comes to the type of terrain and type of rider.

In terms of its power and technical ability, the Monster Pro comes with a hollow motor that produces around 3500W when working at full capacity, which again, is great for its compact size.

The Monster Pro is fitted with an LG M50T 21700 battery which produces 36000wh at 100V, which is an enormous amount of raw power. In terms of charging the battery, a 100V/3A charger is included with the Monster Pro. Its charging time is ~12hours. The Monster Pro comes installed with dual charging ports, both of which are fitted with 20A short circuit protection.

Rider and Unicycle Protection

As to be expected, the Monster Pro comes with top-grade safety features that protect not just the rider, but the electric unicycle itself. The Monster Pro utilizes a very effective beep system to alert the rider to any problems.

In terms of over-speed: 30km/h ,2beeps/sec or 3beeps/sec, 45km/h

In terms of battery and power: low voltage, <7.2km/h, 2 beeps/sec or low voltage, >14.4km/h, 3 beeps/2 sec or extreme low voltage, 1 beep/sec, totally 5 beeps.

Other alarms: PCB overheat, 2 beeps(short); hall malfunction, 2 beeps per 0.5 sec

If the mainboard was to overheat, there will be a flurry of urgent beeps in quick succession from the wheel, before the footrests start lifting backwards.

Finally, the Monster Pro will automatically shut off to protect the rider when the wheel is leaning at a 35° angle from a forward to backward direction, or a 45° tilt from the left or right.

Extra Features

Finally, let’s talk about some of the additional, quality of life features that this amazing electric unicycle has to offer.

The official app that is compatible with the Monster Pro allows the user to set the horizontal level or any footrest angle of the rider’s choice, making it ergonomic and customizable for every user.

The unicycle’s seat comes with a nice and bright headlight which is adjustable between 100~6000 lumen.

The Monster Pro also has an anti-spin function where the motor will stop when you hold the handle and lift the wheel.

And finally, you can use your mobile phone to connect to the built-in Bluetooth speakers within the wheel and jam to your favourite music while riding!
